Indian Engineers residency issue: Embassy followup continues

In its followup meeting by the Indian Embassy in Kuwait with the Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) on the issue of NBA accreditation and actual processing of residency extension through Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE), PAM conveyed its willingness to consider longer extension of residencies and also in a way that families are not adversely affected.

Source from Indian Embassy informed that the a followup discussion was held last week in which PAM has requested for a fortnightly list of residencies which would be expiring shortly so as to ensure that no engineer has to leave the country while the final resolution of the matter is awaited.

In this regard, the Indian Embassy in Kuwait informed that those Indian Engineers whose residencies are expiring in the next 2-3 months are requested to forward their details to Kuwait Engineers’ Forum (KEF) as advised in this Embassy’s previous notification of 10th May by sending the details to arundavidson@yahoo.com 

Embassy also informed that any individual and specific issues concerning NOC, the contact person in the Embassy is Shri Yashwant Chatpalliwar, Second Secretary (PIC& Community Affairs/Consular at his email sspic@indembkwt.org or on telephone at 22550171.
