Kuwait's Meteorological Department said Friday a strong wind blowing across the country brought down visibility to less than 500 m.

With speed of 70 km/h, the wind turns into a dust storm in open areas and stirs waves in the sea up to seven feet, according to a statement posted tonight on the webpage of the department affiliated to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
