KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: Former minister of Education and Higher Education, Badr Al-Essa revealed that around 400 staff occupying leadership posts in the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) have been found to be holding forged academic certificates as per the results of the investigations conducted by the commission of inquiry formed by the National Assembly, reports Al-Shahid daily.
KUWAIT CITY, April 30, (Agencies): A Kuwaiti citizen was shot dead in Istanbul late Saturday, Kuwait’s Consul General in Istanbul Mohammad Al-Mohammad said on Sunday. In a press statement, Al- Mohammad said that the Consulate in Istanbul is closely monitoring and following up investigations on the killing of the Kuwaiti citizen, and making necessary arrangements to send his body to Kuwait.
KUWAIT CITY, April 17: Officers from the General Criminal Security Department arrested two Jordanians for stealing from laborers in Shuwaikh Industrial Area. This came after a Palestinian filed a complaint at Shuwaikh Police Station that some unknown persons stole KD 800 from him while he was praying inside a mosque in Shuwaikh Industrial Area.
KUWAIT CITY, April 16: Capital Labor Department Director at the Public Authority for Manpower Hassan Al-Khedr confirmed that six companies found to have violated laws were referred to the General Immigration Investigation Department which, in turn, referred them to the Public Prosecution, reports Al-Jareda daily.
