April 8: A total of 1,173 Palestinian residents of areas affiliated to the Palestinian Authority (PA) — Gaza Strip and West Bank – have submitted applications for teaching positions in Kuwait. However, only 180 among them will be hired, provided they meet all the conditions specified by Ministry of Education of Kuwait.
April 4: Minister of Social Affairs and State Minister for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh disclosed about the legal and security measures that Ministry of Interior is working on completing in coordination with the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to reopen doors for Pakistani workers to return to Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.
March 30: The official spokesperson of Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) and Director of Public Relations Department Aseel Al-Maseed revealed that owners of small and medium enterprises can now renew the work permits of their employees in all service centers affiliated to the authority, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
March 23: The Director of Kuwait Meteorological Department Emad Al- Sanousi said on Thursday that the country will witness unstable weather conditions during the weekend. Al-Sanousi told KUNA that the weather today was cloudy with moderate to fresh southeasterly wind at speeds of 25 – 50 km/h, which caused dust and rain.
Undersecretary of Ministry of Electricity and Water Eng. Mohammad Boushahri affirmed that the ministry will implement an electronic interface that will link it with other government bodies so that no transaction will go through for any consumer until the dues that he or she owes the ministry for its services are collected, reports Al-Rai daily.
